Anna-Maria Hefele & Adriano Sangineto
From String Theory to Sonic Reality
Two voices, two instruments—and much more. Anna-Maria Hefele and Adriano Sangineto unite their worlds in a duo where boundaries blur and music arises in the moment. This collaboration is a deep exploration of harmonic landscapes and sonic textures. Through improvisation, original compositions, and echoes of early music, Anna-Maria’s overtone singing, expressive vocals, and instrumental versatility—Nyckelharpa, harp, and double bass—meet Adriano’s innovative Celtic harp work.
After their first concerts in Italy (Terrestra Festival) and Germany (Café Museum, Passau), the duo continues to explore a repertoire that bridges:
- early music reimagined,
- spontaneous improvisation,
- original compositions,
- acoustic & electronic sounds,
- and pieces borrowed from various musical worlds, all shaped in the moment.
Anna-Maria and Adriano first connected through Marea Arpa. Now, they deepen their artistic exchange—creating performances that are unpredictable, immersive, and deeply human.
This isn’t music to follow—it’s music to enter.
About Anna-Maria Hefele
A voice like no other, Anna-Maria Hefele sings in a way that many would think impossible. Her polyphonic overtone singing allows her to create several layers of sound at once, an effect that is both haunting and hypnotic. Beyond her vocal work, Anna-Maria brings a range of instruments to the stage, from the nyckelharpa to the double bass. Whether she’s performing medieval music, experimental sound, or her own compositions, her voice and instruments invite the listener into an emotional and musical journey that’s as personal as it is profound.xx
